For a romantic Highland Honeymoon winter or summer, Caisealrag Cottage at Crear is the perfect romantic bolt hole to relax and unwind. With the comfortable bed, warm stone floor, wood burning stove and deep squashy sofa and chairs to sink into, you can enjoy just being together in complete privacy after all the buzz of your wedding celebration.

Sandy beaches are only a few moments walk away; where the seals bask on the rocks and otters play and where you can watch the most stunning sunsets with views to the Islands of Gigha, Islay and Jura and the coast of Ireland in the distance. If you enjoy hiking, there are miles and miles to explore in every direction where you will not see another soul and plenty of other actives for those of you looking for adventures.

As part of the Seafood Trail and within walking distance of the Kilberry Inn, recently voted best rural restaurant in Scotland, you can wine and dine on the most delicious local produce. You can also cook with freshly caught seafood landed daily in the fishing village of Tarbert and meat from the neighbouring farm.

The Crear team are on hand 24/7 should you need anything - from extra towels to advice on a walking route, however to respect your complete privacy, housekeeping will only be at your request.

To allow you complete flexibility, you can book by the night and make your stay part of your Highland Honeymoon. We would be happy to suggest other places to visit and Islands to explore. With daily flights to Machrihanish and the Island of Islay from Glasgow International airport, island hoping tickets from Caledonian McBrayne and local yatch charters, trail riding and cycle routes, there are millions of options of how to spend your days.

If you have friends or family who have booked to stay and would like to treat them with flowers or champagne, please don’t hesitate to call and we will be happy to make all the arrangements you require.
