Gather a house party of your family and friends to celebrate at Crear, the perfect winter wedding venue.  With underfloor heating and warm slate floors, the house and studio offer the ultimate in comfort and warmth.  Crystal clear days, frosty mornings and sprinklings of snow on the Paps of Jura make the winter magical.  You can watch the drama of the weather through the vast expanse of glass, while relaxing in front of the open fire enjoying mulled wine or winter Pimms.  When the evenings draw in, close out the world with the solid oak shutters and enjoy the warmth of being surrounded by loved ones in the romantic glow of candle light.

Stay for a week over Christmas or Hogmanay and extend your wedding celebrations to holiday with family and friends.  With twinkling white lights, the Christmas tree, reaching the ceiling and over four meters high, will delight all your guests, and the chimney is definitely big enough for Father Christmas.  In previous years, notes posted up the chimney, from anxious children asking that their presents be delivered to Crear, have always reached Greenland in time.

The winter months are the season for lobsters and crab, scallops and oysters, so enjoy dining like kings on the freshest local produce from both land and sea.  Alan Boslem, our wonderful chef, specializes in seafood and will work with you to tailor menus to your exact requirements.
