Welcome to Crear - an inspirational space for the arts on the west coast of Scotland. Crear and Caisealrag Cottage are unusual wedding venues which is perhaps why you are reading this if you are looking for something a little different. As an arts charity, weddings and civil partnerships at Crear happened by chance when a couple of musicians who had worked here asked if we could host their wedding. Following so many requests from couples just wanting to get away from it all, we also licensed Caisealrag Cottage, where we are also happy to act as your witnesses if required. For most of the year, Crear is filled with artists and writers, musicians and dancers and, by hosting your celebrations at Crear, you are also directly supporting the work of the charity, space to create.
As the whole team gets overexcited with every celebration and feels it's a huge pleasure to be part of one of the happiest days of your lives, you may arrive as a guest but I promise you will leave with a lifelong connection to a magical part of Scotland.
